Colonel Gaddafi, who ruled Libya for more than 42 years, after leading the revolution in 1969, later became known as the leading brother of the Libyan Arab Socialist Masses, in 2008 held a meeting of African leaders and was awarded the title of “King of the Kings of Africa”. He ruled Libya with an iron fist, which was described as a pariah state for a period of his rule after acquiring chemical weapons at the end of the 1980s. In 2011, protests against Gaddafi’s rule began, and the situation developed into a Libyan civil war, which precipitated military intervention by nato-led coalition forces. In October 2011, Gaddafi was arrested by members of the National Liberation Army and killed by rebels, ending the reign of one of the world’s most closed figures. In this album we have collected a collection of photographs of Muammar Gaddafi’s cars that are not matched in the world, such as the Fiat 500, or his own Airbus A340.
